Fiscal Note
In the adopted 2016 Capital Budget Engineering-Major Streets has budgeted $2.18 million for the replacement of deteriorated streets throughout the city via the Reconstruction Streets program (MUNIS 10226). The minor project for the reconstruction of Woodrow Street is established with sufficient budget authority for the costs associated with this resolution (MUNIS 10906). Funding is provided by GO Borrowing, Revenue Bonds, Utility Reserves, and Special Assessments.
The proposed resolution approves plan documents at a total estimated cost of $885,500. $99,200 of this cost is is to be paid by special assessment, while $786,300 will be funded by the City. The total cost of the work is broken out across agencies as follows:

The Board of Public Works and the City Engineer having made reports of all proceedings in relation to the improvement of Woodrow Street Reconstruction Assessment District - 2016 pursuant to a resolution of the Common Council, RES-16-00221, ID No. 41964, adopted 3/15/2016, which resolution was adopted thereto, and the provisions of the Madison General Ordinances and the Wisconsin Statutes in such case made and provided, and the Common Council being fully advised.
BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That the City at large is justly chargeable with and shall pay the sum of $786,300.00 of the entire cost of said improvement.
