Fiscal Note
In the adopted 2016 capital budget the Stormwater Utility has budgeted $50,000 for work to solve drainage problems on private property throughout the City within the Backyard Drainage Problems program (MUNIS 10307). The minor projects within that program are established with sufficient budget authority for the contracted work in the proposed resolution (MUNIS 10535 and MUNIS 10973). Funding is provided by GO borrowing and Stormwater reserves.
The proposed resolution awards the contract at an estimated cost of $43,990.

BE IT RESOLVED, that the following low bids for miscellaneous improvements be accepted and that the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with the low bidders contained herein, subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 39.02 of the Madison General Ordinances concerning compliance with the Affirmative Action provisions and subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 33.07 of the Madison General Ordinances regarding Best Value Contracting:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funds be encumbered to cover the cost of the projects contained herein.
