Fiscal Note

In the adopted 2016 capital budget Engineering - Ped/Bike has budgeted $680,000 for various projects within the Bikeways Program (MUNIS 10138).  This minor project for the East Johnson Street Path is established with sufficient budget authority for the proposed demolition in this resolution (MUNIS 10461).  Funding is provided by GO borrowing.


The proposed resolution approves plan documents for the demolition of the residence at 217 N. First Street at an estimated cost of $40,000.

Body

BE IT RESOLVED,

 

1)                     That the plans and specifications for Demolition - 217 N. First St., be and are hereby approved.

 

2)                     That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.

 

3)                     That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign and grant easements or right-of-way release or procurement documents, maintenance agreements or encroachment agreements, as necessary and grant or accept dedication of lands and/or easements from/to the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
