Fiscal Note

In the adopted 2016 capital budget the Engineering Ped-Bike division has budgeted $680,000 for bicycle related improvements throughout the city under their Bikeways Program (MUNIS 10138). The minor project established under this program is for the improvements for the Tree Lane Greenway Path (MUNIS 10289).  Additionally the Stormwater Utility has budgeted $675,000 for in their Greenways Improvements program (MUNIS 10310).  Funding is from GO borrowing.

 

The proposed contract awards the contract at an estimated cost of $765,350.

BE IT RESOLVED, that the following low bids for miscellaneous improvements be accepted and that the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with the low bidders contained herein, subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 39.02 of the Madison General Ordinances concerning compliance with the Affirmative Action provisions and subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 33.07 of the Madison General Ordinances regarding Best Value Contracting:

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funds be encumbered to cover the cost of the projects contained herein.
