Fiscal Note
In the adopted 2016 capital budget the Water Utility has budgeted $11.7 million for the replacement and upgrade of water mains in their Water Mains Replace and Rehab Improvements program (MUNIS 10432). The minor project for the Segoe Rd water main replacement is established with sufficient budget authority for the contract in the proposed resolution (MUNIS 11306). Funding is provided by revenue bonds.
The proposed resolutions awards the contract at an estimated cost of $299,670.

BE IT RESOLVED, that the following low bids for miscellaneous improvements be accepted and that the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with the low bidders contained herein, subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 39.02 of the Madison General Ordinances concerning compliance with the Affirmative Action provisions and subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 33.07 of the Madison General Ordinances regarding Best Value Contracting:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funds be encumbered to cover the cost of the projects contained herein.
