Fiscal Note
In the adopted 2016 capital budget the Sewer Utility has budgeted $1.1 million for their Sewer Reconstruction program (MUNIS 10267). The minor project for the Bedford Street and MATC athletic fields sewer repair (MUNIS 11211) is established with sufficient budget authority for the proposed work in the contract. Funding for this project is from the Sewer Utility’s reserves.
The proposed resolution approves the contract at an estimated cost of $204,750.

BE IT RESOLVED, that the following low bids for miscellaneous improvements be accepted and that the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with the low bidders contained herein, subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 39.02 of the Madison General Ordinances concerning compliance with the Affirmative Action provisions and subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 33.07 of the Madison General Ordinances regarding Best Value Contracting:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funds be encumbered to cover the cost of the projects contained herein.
