Fiscal Note
In the adopted 2016 Capital Budget the Bridge Repair program (MUNIS 10538) is established for repairing, replacing, and maintaining bridges to keep them in safe condition. The minor project for the Williamson Street bridge (MUNIS 11400) has sufficient budget authority for the estimated cost of the project. Funding is provided by G.O. borrowing.
The proposed resolution approves plan documents at an estimated cost of $60,000.

PREAMBLE
The Williamson Street Bridge is in need of some joint repair and curb and gutter repairs to stop water from further deteriorating the concrete arch bridge.
BE IT RESOLVED,
1) That the plans and specifications for Williamson Street Bridge Repairs - 2016 be and are hereby approved.
2) That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.
3) That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to accept dedication of lands and/or easements from the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
