Approving plans and specifications for the intersection of Jenifer Street and S. Ingersoll Street. (6th AD)
Body
Jenifer Street is being reconstructed in 2016. The plans and specifications for the project were approved by the Board of Public Works and the Common Council on 2/3/2016 and 2/23/2016, respectively (RES-16-00164). Following approval of the project, Metro transit has revised the locations of the proposed bus stops near the intersection of Jenifer and Ingersoll after review with the Transit and Parking Commission, and proposes to retain the stops as nearside stops. As a result City Engineering and Traffic Engineering propose to revise the intersection to accommodate the revised bus stop locations, and to remove the curb bump-outs at the intersection that were included with the earlier plans.
Construction and funding will be included with project 10214, Jenifer Street, S. Paterson Street, S. Brearly Street, and S. Few Street Reconstruction Assessment District - 2015., File ID 41518
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the plans and specifications for the intersection of Jenifer Street and S. Ingersoll Street are hereby approved.
