Waste Oil Collection Site Upgrades located adjacent to Cherokee Marsh.

City Engineering operates four (4) waste oil collection sites in the City of Madison. To better manage some past illegal dumping issues, the sites shall be upgraded. City Engineering will be letting a Public Works contract in 2016 to upgrade two (2) of the existing waste oil collection tanks currently located on Parks Division lands. The existing site near the intersection of Wheeler Road and School Road will be moved off of the existing Cherokee Marsh lands and will be placed in a corner of the existing parking area within a portion of the unused public right-of-way of Wheeler Road (adjacent to Park lands).
