Title

Authorizing the execution of a Declaration of Public Bus Shelter Easement on lands located within Monona Golf Course in the 300 block of Pflaum Road.

Body

WHEREAS, Madison Metro is planning the installation of a concrete pad for a future Metro bus shelter site at the Monona Golf Course in the 300 block of Pflaum Road; and

WHEREAS, the City Engineering Division, Madison Metro and Parks Division have collaborated in the plan for the new bus shelter facility on lands located within Monona Golf Course; and

WHEREAS, Parks Division staff have reviewed and approve of the easement for public bus shelter facilities being located within Monona Golf Course.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Declaration of Public Bus Shelter Easement allowing for the installation of a bus shelter facility within a portion of the Monona Golf Course located in the 300 block of Pflaum Road, within the following described lands, and depicted on Exhibit A.

Easement for Public Bus Shelter Legal Description:

Part of the SW1/4 of the SW1/4 of Section 16, T7N R10E, City of Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin, more particularly described as follows:

Commencing at the South Quarter-Corner of said Section 16;

thence S88°18'10"W, 1978.25 feet along the Southwest line of said Section 16;

thence N01°41'50"W, 33.00 feet to the north right-of-way line of Pflaum Road and the point of beginning;

thence S88°18'10"W, 16.00 feet along said right-of-way;

thence N01°41'50"W, 10.50 feet;

thence N88°18'10"E, 16.00 feet;

thence S01°41'50"E, 10.50 feet to the point of beginning.

Containing 168 square feet, more or less.
