Fiscal Note

The 2016 capital budget includes $1,676,000 for Park Land Improvements (MUNIS Project 17421) funded by general obligation borrowing, impact fees, private sources and other restricted sources.  The proposed resolution authorizes $168,070 for paving projects at Aldo Leopold Park, Rimrock Park, Cardinal Glenn Park and Westmorland Park.  Funding is available in the project.

 

The 2016 capital budget includes $1,729,000 for Playground/Accessibility Improvements (MUNIS Project 17436) funded by general obligation borrowing and impact fees.  The proposed resolution authorizes $3,760 for paving of an accessible path to the playground at Village Park.  Funding is available in the project.

BE IT RESOLVED, that the following low bids for miscellaneous improvements be accepted and that the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with the low bidders contained herein, subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 39.02 of the Madison General Ordinances concerning compliance with the Affirmative Action provisions and subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 33.07 of the Madison General Ordinances regarding Best Value Contracting:

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funds be encumbered to cover the cost of the projects contained herein.
