Fiscal Note

In the 2016 adopted capital budget Stormwater Utility has a major project for Total Maximum Daily Load mandate Compliance (MUNIS 10343) for the discharges to the Rock River Watershed.  $1.06 million is budgeted for the work related to maintaining compliance of the TMDL.  The minor project for the Willow Creek Treatment Structure maintenance work is established with sufficient budget authority for the costs associated with the proposed contract.  The funding for this project is provided from GO borrowing and Stormwater reserves.

 

The proposed resolution awards the specified contract for a total estimated cost of $73,010.

BE IT RESOLVED, that the following low bids for miscellaneous improvements be accepted and that the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with the low bidders contained herein, subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 39.02 of the Madison General Ordinances concerning compliance with the Affirmative Action provisions and subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 33.07 of the Madison General Ordinances regarding Best Value Contracting:

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funds be encumbered to cover the cost of the projects contained herein.
