Fiscal Note

In the adopted 2016 capital budget, the Sewer Utility’s major project for trenchless sewer rehabilitation (MUNIS 10450) authorizes $2.3 million for repairs of failing sewers that meet criteria for rehabilitation. Funding for this project is provided by revenue bonds. The minor project for the CIPP Wet Lining Rehab (MUNIS 10800) has an available budget to provide for the estimated cost in this proposed resolution.

 

The proposed resolution approves plan documents for the CIPP Wet Lining Rehab with an estimated cost of $499,855 to be paid from the Sewer Utility.

 

Budget authority is available in Account # 10800-83-173

Body

BE IT RESOLVED,

 

1)                     That the plans and specifications for CIPP Rehab of Sanitary Sewers 2016 - Wet Lining, be and are hereby approved.

 

2)                     That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.

 

3)                     That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign and grant easements or right-of-way release or procurement documents, maintenance agreements or encroachment agreements, as necessary and grant or accept dedication of lands and/or easements from/to the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
