Fiscal Note
In the adopted 2016 capital budget, the Sewer Utility’s major project for sewer reconstruction (MUNIS 10267) has $1.1 million authorized for replacement of older sewers in coordination with the City’s street reconstruction and pavement management projects. Funding for this project is provided by revenue bonds. The minor project for the Bassett/Bedford St. sewer rehab (MUNIS 11211) provides for the estimated cost in this proposed resolution.
The proposed resolution approves plan documents for the N. Basset/Bedford St. project with an estimated cost of $215,000 to be paid by the Sewer Utility.

BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED:
1. That the plans and specifications for N. Bassett Street and North Bedford Street Sanitary Sewer Pipe Bursting, be and are hereby approved.
2. That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.
3. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to accept dedication of lands and/or easements from the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
