Fiscal Note
In the adopted 2016 capital budget, Water Utility’s has a major capital project with $6,239,000 budgeted in 2016 for the rebuilding of the Water Utilities operations center at Paterson Street (MUNIS 10442). Funding for this project is provided by revenue bonds. Existing minor project for the SCADA Room Construction (MUNIS 12095) provides for the funding of the estimated cost for this proposed resolution.
The proposed resolution approves plan documents for the SCADA room upgrade. The estimated project cost of $97,500 will be paid by the Water Utility.

Body
BE IT RESOLVED,
1) That the plans and specifications for SCADA Room Upgrade, be and are hereby approved.
2) That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.
3) That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign and grant easements or right-of-way release or procurement documents, maintenance agreements or encroachment agreements, as necessary and grant or accept dedication of lands and/or easements from/to the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
