Waldorf Park Master Plan

Waldorf Park is located at 1736 Waldorf Boulevard on the City’s west side. The 1.79 acre “mini” park was dedicated to the City as part of the Second Addition to Mid Town Commons in 2005. City of Madison Parks staff has been working with the neighborhood and Alder through a public park master plan process to consider recreational amenities for this park. Mid-Town Commons Park is located directly north of Waldorf Park, and there is the potential for additional residential development to the south based on interest in rezoning some of the commercial areas. A public input meeting was held on October 22, 2015 to discuss the park and potential master plan options. The proposed master plan includes a half-court basketball court, playground, open playfield and an accessible path that connects to the public sidewalks.
