I hereby submit, for your consideration and approval, the following citizen committee appointments.

 

 

AFFIRMATIVE ACTION COMMISSION

 

BRITTANY G. CUDABACK (6th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Adult City Resident. Ms. Cudaback is currently attending UW-Madison, pursuing Masters of Public Affairs and Juris Doctorate degrees. She has been involved with several organizations and is currently a member of the Legislative and Policy Committee for the Wisconsin Council on Mental Health. Ms. Cudaback succeeds Theola Carter.

TERM EXPIRES: 4-19-2016

 

 

ALCOHOL LICENSE REVIEW COMMITTEE

 

PATRICK J. GRADY (5th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Adult City Resident. Mr. Grady is a retired sergeant, having served with the Madison Police Department for 31 years. In addition, he has been a landlord of rental properties in Madison since 1974. Mr. Grady succeeds Ann E. Zambie.

COMMITTEE ON AGING

 

DARRYL K. SHERMAN (13th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Member (55+ Years of Age). Mr. Sherman is the current president of Madison Friends of International Students. He formerly served as president of both the Madison Art Guild and Dudgeon-Monroe Neighborhood Association. He is an active volunteer with Olbrich Gardens. Mr. Sherman succeeds Thomas L. Frazier.

Early Childhood Care and Education Committee recommendation:

 

LEANDREA VERNON (11th A.D.) - appoint to the position of Early Childhood Care and Education Committee Representative.  Ms. Vernon succeeds Patricia A. Lasky.

EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES COMMISSION

 

MELANIE G. RAMEY (11th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Adult City Resident. Ms. Ramey currently serves as the Executive Director/CEO of HOPE of Wisconsin. She is the former president of the League of Women Voters of Wisconsin. Ms. Ramey succeeds Percy L. Brown, Jr.
