Fiscal Note

As stated in the Employment Agreement between the City of Madison and Gregg R. McManners, the Director's initial year's salary will be based on an annualized rate of $126,000 and will be adjusted by the base rate increase provided to employees in CG 21. The Director shall receive the same benefits as all other non-represented professional employees in CG 18. Additionally, the Director shall be entitled to benefits including vacation and sick leave; compensation for participation in professional seminars, conferences, workshops, and related meetings; compensation for participation in community, civic, and professional activities and events; compensation for participation in relevant professional organizations; and is eligible for a smart phone with data plan for City usage.

Body

WHEREAS, Mayor Soglin has appointed Gregg R. McManners to the position of Director of Monona Terrace and has recommended to the Common Council that his appointment be confirmed; and

 

WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. McManners

 

NOW THEREFORE, be resolved that Mr. McManners appointment to the position of Director of Monona Terrace is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and the City Clerk’s office are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. McManners.
