Title
Authorizing the execution of an Underground Electric Line Easement to Madison Gas and Electric Company, across a portion of the City Water Utility Well #30 property, located at 1133 Moorland Road.
Body
WHEREAS, the City Water Utility is constructing a new water pump station and reservoir facility, (“Well #30”), located at 1133 Moorland Road; and
WHEREAS, Madison Gas and Electric Company (“MG&E”) will be installing new underground electric service to serve Well #30, and therefore have requested an underground electric line easement, across a portion of the City Water Utility Well #30 property; and
WHEREAS, City Water Utility and Office of Real Estate Services staff have reviewed and approve of the granting of said new underground electric easement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an Underground Electric Line Easement to MG&E, across a portion of the City Water Utility Well #30 property, located at 1133 Moorland Road, legally described as follows:
A strip of land, varying in width, located in Lots 3 and 4, Certified Survey Map No. 1698, Document No. 1430131, in Volume 7, Pages 61 and 62 of Certified Survey Maps as recorded at the Dane County Register of Deeds Office, lying in part of the W½ of Section 36, T7N-R9E, City of Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin, said strip being more particularly described as follows:
The right-of-way shall be located approximately as shown on the Easement Drawing attached hereto as Exhibit “A.”
