Correcting the 2015 SEED Grant awarded to Dane County Pantry Brigade
Body
WHEREAS, the Common Council adopted Resolution RES-15-00214 (ID #37627) on 3/18/2015, authorized the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute agreements with the 2015 SEED grant recipients as described in that resolution; and
WHEREAS, the resolution awarded $3,440 to the Dane County Pantry Brigade for a project entitled Free Vegetables for School Children, but did not identify its fiscal agent, as the contracting party; and
WHEREAS, Free Vegetables for School Children has become a part of a larger project (Healthy Food for All) under the fiscal sponsorship of the Center for Community Stewardship, Inc; and
WHEREAS, APM 1-1 requires all contracts signed by the mayor and city clerk to be authorized by the Common Council and the authorization must include the name of the contracting party;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute an agreement with Center for Community Stewardship as fiscal agent for Dane County Pantry Brigade for the project Free Vegetable for School Children described above and identified in RES-15-00214.
