Title
Authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a one year contract with the Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs for the Fire Department to provide services to support the provision of emergency medical services at Dane County Regional Airport and Truax field.
Body
The Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs (DMA) operates the Truax Fire Department. The Truax Fire Department provides initial emergency medical services at the Dane County Regional Airport and Truax Field.
The City of Madison has contracted with DMA to allow Truax Fire Department to participate under the approved City of Madison Fire Department emergency medical services plan.This agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs first started on July 12, 2004-Resolution No. 61645.
Both the Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs and the Fire Department wish to continue this cooperative agreement. DMA will continue to reimburse the Madison Fire Department for equipment and expendable products. The agreement covers calendar year 2015 and the annual contract amount is $16,900.
WHEREAS, the City and Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs wish to continue this cooperative agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Clerk are authorized to execute an agreement between the City of Madison and Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs for the Fire Department provision of services to support the emergency medical services program at the Dane County Regional Airport and Truax Field.
