DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS:   This amendment rezones property at 409 East Main Street to correct a mapping error.   The building on the property has long been a commercial office building, and should have been zoned UMX when the new zoning code was adopted in January 2013 to allow the existing use to remain conforming.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
 
Map Amendment 00171 of Section 28.022 of the Madison General Ordinances is hereby created to read as follows:
 
"28.022-00171.  The following described property is hereby rezoned to UMX (Urban Mixed Use):
 
Block 268 of the Original Plat of Madison Southwest 44 feet Northeast 94 feet of Lot 1 and Southwest 44 feet of Northeast 94 feet of the Northwest 12 feet of Lot 2."
