License revenues of an estimated $460 have been included in the 2015 operating budget as part of the General Fund/Miscellaneous Licenses revenues administered by the City Clerk.

Relating to 2015-2017 Pedal-Cab License Renewals.
 
Body
WHEREAS, the following firms have applied for renewals of their Pedal-Cab licenses, effective July 1, 2015:
Black and Tan Bike Cab, requesting 1 pedal-cab permit
il Corvo Pedicab Service, requesting 1 pedal-cab permit
 
WHEREAS, the Traffic Engineer has provided the Transit and Parking Commission with an investigative report on the applications and a recommendation to grant the licenses;
 
WHEREAS, the Common Council recommends that the following actions be taken with respect to the above applications for licenses:
 
1. Approval of the application for license to operate pedal cabs by Black and Tan Bike Cab for 1 pedal-cab permits.
2. Approval of the application for license to operate pedal cabs by il Corvo Pedicab Service for 1 pedal-cab permits.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following licenses are issued, subject to the provisions and conditions as stated above and the ordinances of the City of Madison:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be instructed to issue the licenses authorized by this resolution upon the filing of personal liability and property damage indemnity as required by the Madison General Ordinances, upon filing of a schedule of fares applying to each license so granted as required by said ordinance, and upon registering with the City Clerk the identity of the owner of such licensed pedal-cabs, and upon meeting the conditions as set forth above.
