COMMITTEE ON EMPLOYEE RELATIONS
 
ALD. DENISE DEMARB, District 16 - appoint to the position of Board of Estimates Alder.

ALD. JOSEPH CLAUSIUS, District 17 - appoint to the position of Board of Estimates Alder.

ROB PHILLIPS - appoint to the position of Management Member. Mr. Phillips serves as the City Engineer.

GREG MICKELLS - appoint to the position of Management Member. Mr. Mickells serves as the Library Director, Madison Public Library.

NATALIE ERDMAN - appoint to the position of Management Member. Ms. Erdman serves as the CDA Executive Director and is currently serving as interim Director of the Department of Planning, Community and Economic Development.

JACK S. BERNFELD (6th A.D.)  - appoint to the position of Citizen Member. Mr. Bernfeld has spent more than 37 years working in the labor movement. He spent more than 34 years with Wisconsin Council 40, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, a labor organization that, at its height, represented more than 32,000 workers in over 600 primarily local government bargaining units. He held various positions with the Council, ultimately serving as Associate Director. He was actively involved in all areas of collective bargaining, contract administration and organizing for affiliates across Wisconsin. In 2012, he became Executive Director of the Racine Education UniServ Council, where he managed a labor organization representing more than 2000 educators and support personnel. For the past year, he has served as a Director with WEAC Region 6, a labor organization representing approximately 5000 educators and support personnel in southern Wisconsin, where he works as an advocate and organizer to advance the interests of public educators and students.

BETHANY E. ORDAZ (3rd A.D.)  - appoint to the position of Citizen Member. Ms. Ordaz is a political consultant working with both candidate and issue based campaigns. She specializes in working with women and candidates of color seeking public office.  Ms. Ordaz has spent the past twelve years working in a variety of positions in the State Capitol, on campaigns and with organized labor. From 2008-2010 she served as Political Director for the Service Employees International Union advocating for workers in the State Capitol and working to elect pro-labor candidates at the local, state and federal level. Since 2010, she has worked on a variety of candidate and issue based campaigns, including a run for public office herself. In 2012, Ms. Ordaz served as the Wisconsin Political Director for President Obama's re-election campaign. In 2013, she worked for the successful re-election of State Superintendent Tony Evers and on federal immigration reform with a statewide coalition. In 2014, she worked on Susan Happ's campaign for Attorney General.
