PREAMBLE
RES-14-00273 previously established authority to fund raise $20,000 for the 2015 Mayor's Bike Summit. The 2015 Operating Budget included expenditure authority of $20,000 for the event. Now final plans are being made and cost estimates are being revised. With a large turnout, costs could be as high as $35,000. Therefore the 2015 Mayor's Office Operating Budget shall be adjusted to reflect this potential maximum cost. Fund raising authority shall be adjusted to match the event cost, leaving no net impact on the Operating Budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the 2015 Mayor's Office Operating Budget is hereby amended to ncrease expenditures by $15,000 (to $35,000) for the 2015 Mayor's Bike Summit, with commensurate, offsetting increased revenues.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor's Office is authorized to conduct fund raising to cover the entire cost of this event.
