Commending, honoring, and expressing appreciation to Diane Dabbert upon her retirement from the City of Madison after 23 years of exemplary service to the City.
 
Body
WHEREAS, Diane Dabbert began employment with the City of Madison in 1991 with the City of Madison Clerk's office; and
 
WHEREAS, Diane's City career continued with a move in 1999 to the newly-developed Warner Park Community Recreation Center on the Northside of Madison; and
 
WHEREAS, in 1999, Diane was selected as the inaugural Program Assistant at the Warner Park Community Recreation Center and has held that position since, setting a standard for how City of Madison Parks recreation centers should be operated; and
 
 
WHEREAS, Diane has been a great community member, a strong advocate for customers, a provider of outstanding customer service, and an excellent employee; and
 
WHEREAS, Diane has helped build the Warner Park Community Recreation Center into a valuable, community asset that provides exceptional customer service, programs, and events for Madison's Northside; and
 
WHEREAS, Diane has developed strong relationships with Madison School and Community Recreation (MSCR) and North Eastside Senior Coalition (NESCO) to maintain the high level of service and programming at the Warner Park Community Recreation Center that community members expect; and
 
WHEREAS, the Parks Division, Warner Park staff, and the many customers of the Warner Park Community Recreation Center are going to miss Diane incredibly.
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that we commend, honor and express appreciation to Diane Dabbert upon her retirement from the City of Madison after 23 years of exemplary service, and wish her a long and fulfilling retirement.
