Fiscal Note
The Employment Agreement provides for an annual starting salary of $110,000, plus fringe benefit expense, effective February 1, 2015. The 2015 adopted operating budget of the Economic Development Division includes authorized wage expenditures of $120,121, plus fringe benefit expense, so there will be some salary savings generated in 2015. No additional appropriation is required.

Submitting the appointment of Matthew B. Mikolajewski for confirmation of a five-year term as the Economic Development Division Director.
Body
WHEREAS, Mayor Soglin has appointed Matthew B. Mikolajewski to the position of Economic Development Division Director and has recommended to the Common Council that his appointment be confirmed; and
WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Mikolajewski
NOW THEREFORE, be resolved that Mr. Mikolajewski appointment to the position of Economic Development Division Director is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and the City Clerk's office are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Mikolajewski.
