Discussion of Breese Stevens Field Operations in 2015

Given the significant investments made to Breese Stevens Field over the past ten years and the growing interest from diverse groups in utilizing this space, Madison Parks staff will present a summary of the current operational plan and discuss options for moving forward to ensure a successful strategy for activating the space in a way that provides opportunities for many groups to use the facility, recognizes the importance of addressing impacts on the surrounding neighborhood, and provides a sustainable financial model into the future. Staff are considering whether or not to issue a Request for Qualifications to determine if there are non-City entities interested in jointly operating the facility.
