Fiscal Note

Under the terms of the new Employment Agreement, the annualized salary is set at $137,539.  Funds are available within the 2015 Engineering Operating Budget.  No additional appropriation is required.

Body

WHEREAS, Mayor Soglin has appointed Robert F. Phillips to the position of City Engineer and has recommended to the Common Council that his appointment be confirmed; and

WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Phillips.

NOW THEREFORE, be resolved that Mr. Phillips appointment to the position of City Engineer is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and the City Clerk's office are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Phillips.
