If Caballo Pedicab is granted this permit, a $125 company license fee, a $30 in vehicle permit fee, and a $25 driver's permit fee would be realized annually by the City.

Body
WHEREAS, Caballo Pedicab has applied for a pedal-cab service operator license and one (1) Pedal-Cab Vehicle permit;
WHEREAS, Caballo Pedicab has been granted a provisional pedal-cab service by the Traffic Engineer, as the operator has met the criteria as provided under MGO 11.06(2)(c) including a valid public passenger driver permit, proof of proper liability insurance coverage and approved vehicle inspection;
WHEREAS, a pedal cab operator may apply and be granted a provisional pedal-cab service operator license, the application must receive final approval by the Transit and Parking Commission and Common Council;
WHEREAS, any changes in routes or zones used by Caballo Pedicab would be subject to review by Traffic Engineering;                   
 
WHEREAS, this vehicle would be subject to all state laws and Madison Ordinances pertaining to bicycles;
WHEREAS, the City's Risk Manager has reviewed the applicant's liability insurance coverage and found that it complies with City ordinance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council approves Caballo Pedicab application to operate a pedal cab and approves its request for one Pedal-cab Vehicle permit in 2014.
LET IT FURTHER BE RESOLVED that Caballo Pedicab application and service are subject to the provisions and conditions as stated above and the ordinances of the City of Madison.
