The additional wage expense in 2014 is an estimated $805, plus $290 for fringe benefit expense, or a total additional expense of $1,095. Traffic Engineering will manage its salary savings in 2014 to accommodate the additional expense, so no additional appropriation is required. The full, annualized future expense (at Step 5) is $6,551 for wages, plus $2,358 for fringe benefits, or a total expense of $8,909, which will need to be included in future operating budgets, subject to Common Council approval.

Recreate the 1.0 FTE position of Traffic Operations Supervisor, #1222 (occupied by P. Nehmer), in CG18-08, as a Traffic Operations Supervisor in 18-10 in the Traffic Engineering Division budget. Reallocate the respective incumbent of position #1222 to the new position.

Resolution that the 1.0 FTE position of Traffic Operations Supervisor, #1222 (occupied by P. Nehmer), in CG18-08, shall be recreated as a Traffic Operations Supervisor, CG18-10 in the permanent salary detail of the Traffic Engineering Division budget. The respective incumbent of position #1222 shall be reallocated to the new position.
