I hereby submit, for your consideration and approval, the following citizen committee appointments. Statement of Interest forms are on file where applicable.


CAPITOL EAST DISTRICT COMMITTEE

MARK GREENE (4th A.D.) - appoint to the position of Business Community Representative. Mr. Greene is a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch. He currently serves on the City’s Economic Development Committee and is a member of 100 Black Men of Madison, Madison Network of Black Professionals and the Madison Chamber of Commerce.

MELISSA BERGER (13th A.D.) - appoint to the position of Member with Real Estate Expertise. Ms. Berger is a landlord, property manager and realtor. She currently serves on the City’s Plan Commission.

TOM LANDGRAF (5th A.D.) - appoint to the position of Citizen Member. Mr. Landgraf is a real estate consultant, senior lecturer at the UW-Madison School of Business and licensed paramedic. He currently serves on the City’s Alcohol License Review Committee.


COMMISSION ON PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

KURT SIEGEL (19th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of three-year term to the position of Adult City Resident. Mr. Siegel is a financial advisor with Northwestern Mutual. He has been involved with several organizations, including the Red Cross. Mr. Siegel succeeds Sarah L. Baebler.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT COMMITTEE

JOSEPH M. O’CONNELL (20th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a one-year term and to a full one-year term to the position of First Alternate. Mr. O’Connell is a budget and policy analyst with the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services. He has volunteered with numerous organizations such as YMCA, Habitat for Humanity and Second Harvest Food Bank. Mr. O’Connell succeeds Russ Whitesel.
