Fiscal Note
The Global City Indicators Facility is transitioning to the New World Council on City Data (WCCD). Completing the application for the WCCD may require significant staff time. The application includes 100 indicators, of which 46 are considered core indicators and must be completed. These indicators cover areas that apply to many city agencies and the time involved in completing the indicators will depend on whether the information is readily available. Staff time will also be required to coordinate the accumulation of the data.
When the application has been accepted by the WCCD, a fee structure will be determined. The initial estimate of the fee for the City of Madison is $6,000 to $10,000 annually. There will be continuing staff time associated with updating the data.
