Title
Authorizing the execution of an Underground Electric Easement to Madison Gas and Electric Company across a portion of Reindahl Park, located at 1818 Portage Road.
Body
WHEREAS, the City Parks Division is installing new public splash pad facility at Reindahl Park, located at 1818 Portage Road; and
WHEREAS, Madison Gas and Electric Company ("MG&E") will be installing new underground electric service to serve the City Parks Division's new public splash pad facility, and therefore MG&E has requested an underground electric easement, across a portion of Reindahl Park; and
WHEREAS, City of Madison Parks Division and Office of Real Estate Services staff have reviewed and approve of the granting of said easement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an Underground Electric Easement to Madison Gas and Electric Company across a portion of Reindahl Park, located at 1818 Portage Road, legally described as follows:
A strip of land, ten (10) feet in width, located in part of the Southwest ΒΌ of Section of Section 28, Town 8 North, Range 10 East, City of Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin, said strip being more particularly described as follows:
The right of way shall be located five (5) feet on the right side and five (5) feet on the left side of the centerline of MG&E's facilities as constructed. The facilities will be located approximately as set forth in the drawing attached hereto as Exhibit A and dated June 26, 2014.
