The reclassification will result in additional salary and benefit expense in 2014 of an estimated $962 for wages plus $192 in fringe benefit cost, or total estimated expense of $1,154. The projected annualized cost is $6,048 for wages plus $1,210 in benefit expense, or a total cost of $7,258. In 2014, the Economic Development Division will manage its salary savings to accommodate the additional expense, so no additional appropriation is required.

Create the classification of Economic Development Program Coordinator in CG16, Range 17, delete the classification of Economic Development Technician in CG20, R16, recreate the position (#620) of "Economic Development Technician" (CG20/R16) as an "Economic Development Program Coordinator" (CG16/R17) and reallocate the incumbent (P. Yessa) to the new position.

Resolution to create the classification of "Economic Development Program Coordinator" in Compensation Group 16, Range 17, and delete the classification of Economic Development Technician in CG20, Range 16. Upon creation of the new classification, position #620 of "Economic Development Technician" in Compensation Group 20, Range 16, currently occupied by P. Yessa, in the permanent salary detail of the EDD budget, is deleted and recreated as an "Economic Development Program Coordinator" in CG16, Range 17, and the incumbent is reallocated to the new position, thereof.
