Amending Sections 22.01(9) and 22.15(2)(c) of the Madison General Ordinances to update obsolete references to the Wisconsin Statutes.

DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS: This ordinance will update obsolete references to the Wisconsin Statutes in Chapter 22. **********************************************************************************
The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
1. Subsection (9) of Section 22.01 entitled "Federal Standards, State Statutes and Rules Adopted by Reference" of the Madison General Ordinances is amended to read as follows:
"(9) Section 134.85(5)100.51(5), Wisconsin Statutes (1989-90)."
2. Subdivision (c) of Subsection (2) entitled "Motor Vehicles Used by Persons with Disabilities; Service" of Section 22.15 entitled "Motor Fuel, Heating Oils, and Solvents Sales on Premises of Seller" of the Madison General Ordinances is amended to read as follows:
"(c) A motor fuel dealer shall keep posted in a conspicuous place at her/his place of business, a placard or sign, clearly visible to customers from within their vehicle, informing them of the provisions of this ordinance and of Sec. 134.85(5)100.51(5), Wis. Stats. (1989-90). Each such placard or sign shall contain the international symbol of accessibility."
