If Madtown Hopper LLC is granted this permit, approximately $355 in company, vehicle, and driver's licensing revenue will be realized by the City.

Related to the approval of Madtown Hopper LLC's application for one low-speed vehicle service license and two low-speed vehicle permits.
Body
WHEREAS, Madtown Hopper LLC has applied for one low-speed vehicle service license and two low-speed vehicle permits;
 
WHEREAS, any route changes proposed by Madtown Hopper LLC would be subject to review by Traffic Engineering;     
 
WHEREAS, each of Madtown Hopper LLC vehicles will have the required level of insurance coverage as required under MGO 11.06 (8)(a) and approved by the City Risk manager, and shall be subject to a safety inspection by Traffic Engineering staff before operating;     
 
WHEREAS, under Wis Stat. 346.94 (22), a low-speed vehicle may be operated on any roadway that has a speed limit of 35 miles per hour or less;
 
WHEREAS, this vehicle, like other motorized vehicles, shall be subject to all State and City traffic laws;
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council approves Madtown Hopper LLC's application to operate a low-speed vehicle service and approves its request for two low-speed vehicle permits.
 
LET IT FURTHER BE RESOLVED that Madtown Hopper LLC application for one low-speed vehicle service license and two low-speed vehicle permits, subject to the provisions and conditions as stated above and the ordinances of the City of Madison, be approved.
