Body
WHEREAS the project is to provide tasks and objectives related to professional commissioning services for the construction of a new building, including site work for the Fire Administration Office Building Tenant Improvements and Fire Station No. 1 Remodel, located at 316 West Dayton Drive in Madison, Wisconsin; and,

WHEREAS the commissioning services shall ensure that building systems are designed, installed, functionally tested and capable of being operated and maintained to perform within the building design intent; and,

WHEREAS the project shall include enhanced commissioning services and will include monitoring the owner’s project requirements and basis of design documents, monitoring the commissioning plan, review construction shop drawing submittals, review O&M manuals, preparation of systems manuals, training, operations and warranty review, commissioning reports, and similar items; and,

WHEREAS the scope of this work includes commissioning and measurement & verification services; and,

WHEREAS systems to be commissioned include the entire HVAC system, the building automation system, the entire plumbing system, the entire electrical systems, renewable energy systems, and building envelope and roofing system as it pertains to HVAC energy conservation; and,

WHEREAS the measurement & verification services shall be provided after completion of construction during the first year of occupancy; and,

WHEREAS the commissioning services, energy modeling, and measurement & verification services shall meet the requirements of USGBC LEED-NC design and construction criteria; a...
