Creating Section 28.186(4) of the Madison General Ordinances to establish a deadline for site and building plan compliance.

DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS: This amendment clarifies when site and building plan compliance is required. For plans approved before June 1, 2014 compliance is required by July 1, 2014. For all other plans, compliance is required as of the date established by the Zoning Administrator as part of the site plan approval.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
Subsection (4) entitled "Compliance" of Section 28.186 entitled "Site and Building Plan Review" of the Madison General Ordinances is created to read as follows:
"(4) Compliance.
(a) For site and building plans approved before June 1, 2014, a property owner or operator is required to bring the property into compliance with all elements of the approved site and building plan by July 1, 2014.
(b) For site and building plans approved after June 1, 2014, a property owner or operator is required to bring the property into compliance with all elements of the approved site plans by the date established by the Zoning Administrator as part of the site and building plan approval."
