Authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute Addendum No. 1 to the Contract for Professional Services with Strand Associates Inc. for development of a comprehensive Lake Wingra Watershed Management Plan.
Body
WHEREAS, The City of Madison has previously entered into a contract for Professional Services with Strand Associates Inc. for development of a comprehensive Lake Wingra Watershed Management Plan; and
WHEREAS, Strand has completed previous work and is currently working on the Lake Wingra Watershed Management Plan for the City of Madison; and
WHEREAS, revisions and corrections to the City of Madison's stormwater model were necessary to complete the work agreed upon by both parties; and
WHEREAS, a recalculation of the chloride loading to Lake Wingra was necessary due to the recent availability of more accurate information regarding the volume of Lake Wingra from staff of the University of Wisconsin Environmental Fluid Mechanics Lab;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk area authorized to execute addendum #1 to the existing Lake Wingra Watershed Management Plan agreement with Strand Associates Inc. to provide the aforementioned additional consulting services.
