Fiscal Note
A provision in these agreements allows the affected employees to carryover up to 6 days unused sick leave from one year to the next.  This is expected to increase by $17,000, the City's liability for compensated absences.  Beginning in 2016, approximately $9,000 will be paid for sick days carried over from the previous year that exceed the 6 day maximum.
 
Other provisions in these agreements have minimal fiscal effects.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
      The Labor Agreements between the City of Madison and Dane County, Wisconsin Municipal Employees, Local 60, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, Library Pages, are hereby adopted in their entirety and confirmed in all respects and the Mayor and Clerk are authorized to sign the agreements.
