Fiscal Note
The provisions in these labor agreements with a fiscal effect include an increase in night and Saturday premium shift differentials from 58 cents per hour to 75 cents per hour and a decrease in the Sunday shift premium from $1.78 per hour to $1 per hour.  Based on 2013 hours, the combination of these changes is expected to reduce costs by approximately $2,200.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
      The Labor Agreements between the City of Madison and Dane County, Wisconsin Municipal Employees, Local 60, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, Library Unit, are hereby adopted in their entirety and confirmed in all respects and the Mayor and Clerk are authorized to sign the agreements.
