Fiscal Note
The provisions in these labor agreements with a fiscal effect include an increase in night and Saturday premium shift differentials from 60 cents per hour to 75 cents per hour and a decrease in the Sunday shift premium from $1.85 per hour to $1 per hour.  Based on 2013 hours, the combination of these changes is expected to increase costs by less than $1,000.

DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS:  This ordinance adopts and confirms the Labor Agreements between the City of Madison and Dane County, Wisconsin Municipal Employees, Local 60, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, Professional Librarians Unit, for the period January 1, 2015 through December 31, 2015 and January 1, 2016 through December 31, 2016.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
      The Labor Agreements between the City of Madison and Dane County, Wisconsin Municipal Employees, Local 60, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, Professional Librarians Unit, are hereby adopted in their entirety and confirmed in all respects and the Mayor and Clerk are authorized to sign the agreements.
