Fiscal Note
The changes included in these labor agreements that have a fiscal effect include a half-hour minimum of pay for actual non-routine work performed between Midnight and 6AM, a minimum of two hours of pay if court is scheduled outside of normal shift and is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, and allowing employees on layoff to use sick leave for up to six months to purchase health insurance if no other option is available.  Based on prior activity, these provisions are expected to have minimal fiscal effect.

DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS:  This ordinance adopts and confirms the Labor Agreements between the City of Madison and Dane County, Wisconsin Municipal Employees, Local 60, AFSCME, AFL-CIO for the period January 1, 2015 through December 31, 2015 and January 1, 2016 through December 31, 2016.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
The Labor Agreements between the City of Madison and Dane County, Wisconsin Municipal Employees, Local 60, AFSCME, AFL-CIO are hereby adopted in their entirety and confirmed in all respects and the Mayor and Clerk are authorized to sign the agreements.
