I hereby submit, for your consideration and approval, the following citizen committee appointments. Committee applications for mayoral appointments are attached. Statement of Interest forms are on file for these appointees where applicable.
COMMITTEE ON COMMUNITY GARDENS
MEE VANG (15th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term and to a full three-year term to the position of Citizen. Ms. Vang is an active member of Freedom, Inc and was part of the process that led to a community garden in Brittingham Park. She succeeds Joseph Muellenberg.

ETHICS BOARD
SAMUEL L. OWENS (14th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Citizen Member. Mr. Owens serves as the managing attorney for Owens & Freeman, LLC and is a foreclosure prevention specialist with the Dane County Housing Authority. He previously served on the Madison Election Advisory Committee. Mr. Owens succeeds Laura D. Rose.

JAMES D. COBB (6th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term and to a full three-year term to the position of Citizen Member. Mr. Cobb served as an analyst for the Department of Health Services for 31 years. He is currently adjunct faculty at Cardinal Stritch University and a free-lance writer. Mr. Cobb succeeds Michael B. Jacob.
