Title
SUBSTITUTE - Authorizing the carry-over of CDBG, HOME and other funds, and the extension of previously authorized projects within the Community Development program budget.
Body
The CDBG Committee has traditionally identified certain projects for Council approval to "carry-over" their funds approved in the previous years. Typically, the Committee has recommended carry-over of selected capital projects and programs that have encountered some difficulty beyond their control or which face unusual circumstances. The Community Development Division (CDD) normally continues those projects or programs that have been approved by the Council since April, or capital projects that have approved delays in project development.
