The fiscal impact is unknown and depends on the outcome of the internal hiring process.  Traffic Engineering will manage its salary budget to accommodate any additional expense.  No additional appropriation is required.

Create a new classification of Traffic Signal Electrician 3 in CG16, R18.  Create a new position of Traffic Signal Electrician 3, CG16, R18, in the Traffic Engineering Division budget to be filled through an internal competitive process.  Upon filling the position, the underlying vacancy will be deleted to fund the new position.

Resolution to create a new classification of Traffic Signal Electrician 3 in CG16, R18.  In addition,  a new 1.0 FTE position of Traffic Signal Electrician 3, in Compensation Group 16, Range 18, in the permanent salary detail of the Traffic Engineering Division budget, is created to be posted and filled through an internal competitive process. Upon filling the new position, the underlying vacancy will be deleted, thereof.
