Authorizing the execution of an Underground Electric Line Easement to Madison Gas and Electric Company across a portion of the City Fire Station #13 property, located at 6350 Town Center Drive.
Body
WHEREAS, the City Fire Department is constructing a new fire station facility (Fire Station #13), located at 6350 Town Center Drive; and
 
WHEREAS, Madison Gas and Electric Company ("MG&E") was asked to install underground electric service to serve the Fire Station #13 facility, and therefore have requested an underground electric line easement, across a portion of the Fire Department property, for their underground electric line facilities; and
 
WHEREAS, City of Madison Fire Department and Office of Real Estate Services staff have reviewed and approve of the granting of said easement.
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an Underground Electric Line Easement to Madison Gas and Electric Company across a portion of the City Fire Department property, located at 6350 Town Center Drive, legally described as follows:
 
A strip of land, ten (10) feet in width, located in part of Lot 1, Certified Survey Map No. 12761, Document No. 4593131, in Volume 80, Pages 304-307 of Certified Surveys, lying in part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 2, Town 7 North, Range 10 East, City of Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin, the centerline of said strip being more particularly described as follows:
 
The right of way shall be located five (5) feet on the right side and five (5) feet on the left side of the centerline of MG&E's facilities as constructed.  The facilities will be located approximately as set forth in the drawing attached hereto as Exhibit A and dated August 5, 2013.
