This agreement addresses a wage and benefit differential created by 2011 Wisconsin Act 10 and subsequent negotiations of new agreements with the Association of Madison Fire Supervisors and International Association of Fire Fighters Local 311. The cost of this agreement is estimated at $50,300, which is not included in the 2013 Fire Department operating budget.  If the Department is unable to absorb this cost within its current appropriation, the need for additional funding will be addressed in the 2013 year-end appropriation resolution.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
The Labor Agreement between the City of Madison and the Association of Madison Fire Supervisors (AMFS) is hereby adopted in its entirety and confirmed in all respects, and the Mayor and Clerk are authorized to sign the agreement.
