The Streets Division is planning a mattress and box spring recycling program. The program would begin in the summer of 2013. Residents would pay a fee for the colelction and recycling or their mattresses and box springs. The fee would be based upon the cost of recycling. The Streets Division is currently seeking proposals form recycling firms. One the firm is selected, a resolution surothrizing the program will be rpesented to the Common Council for action.
